workshop project:
a pedagogical design
practice
a pedagogical design
practice
This website is an archive of finished and unfinished, presented and not-presented, made and unmade projects.
In 2013, we formed Workshop Project as a place to imagine what a pedagogical graphic design practice could be. We began by initiating a series of projects whose goal was to discover the form of this new practice by producing its artifacts. These artifacts—lectures, presentations, workshops, and an online archive of our work and process—engage us in dialogue with our colleagues, students and peers.
Workshop Project is Yasmin Khan and Jessica Wexler. We are design educators and practitioners with over two decades of combined experience teaching, designing curricula and coordinating faculty within diverse public, private and for-profit institutions.
Yasmin is Co-Director, MFA in Graphic Design at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California. Jessica is an Associate Professor and the former Chairperson of Undergraduate Communications Design at Pratt Institute in New York.
